A cohort is a program that students progress through over a set time period. A cohort also provides families a discounted rate for animal science courses.
The cohort recommendations are the following:
-be able to devote 3 semesters or up to 18 months
-student is able to work on self paced classes in Google Classroom on weekly assignments (5-7 each week)
-purchase science supplies for labs, projects and crafts
-students are encouraged to visit local farms and animal hospitals for shadowing experience
Elementary-Students in grades 2-5 will complete the following:
Elementary Animal Science 101 (17 Week)
Elementary Animal Science 102 (17 Week)
Elementary Animal Crafts Using Paper & Nature Based Items (6 Week)
One Elective Science-Pick 1 Of 15 Animal Themed 4 Week Sessions
Let's Create A Zoo Project Class (6 Week)
Middle School-Students in grades 6-8 will complete the following:
Middle School Animal Science 101 (17 Week)
Middle School Animal Science 102 (17 Week)
One Elective Science-Pick Any Elective (4 Week, 9 Week, or 17 Week)
High School-Students in grades 9-12 will complete the following:
High School Animal Science 101
High School Animal Science 102
One Elective Science-Pick Any Elective (4 Week, 9 Week, or 17 Week)
High School Animal Genetics (17 Week)
Tuition:
Elementary Students $400 (includes 5 self paced courses)
Middle Students $300 (includes 3 self paced courses)
High School Students $400 (includes 4 self paced courses)
