This course will provide an incredible opportunity for like-minded students to join together to learn more about animals from a certified agriculture education instructor. This class will focus on large animals-pigs, chickens, horses, cattle, llamas, alpacas, sheeps, and goats. 

Asynchronous Learning Time

Every other week students will log into Google Classroom to work on lessons that focus on the basics of animal science. Each week various videos, assignment tasks, crafts, and interactive tests will be provided. 

Live Zoom Learning Time

The other weeks in between the group will meet together for live instruction. During this time students can share their own farm animals via Zoom, stories about their animal care, and learn more together with a focus on terminology, anatomy, and animal behavior. 

Date: This class will meet on Thursdays at 5pm EST. 

Grades: This course is recommended for grades 4-8 but all ages are welcome. 

Length: 14 Weeks, 7 Live Zooms & 7 Asynchronous Video Lessons

Requirements: Spriral notebook, pencil, coloring pencils, glue, tape, posterboard, wifi, headphones

If your child has a farm animal to share with the group, then the student can pick a live Zoom to share or give a virtual tour with the group on the Zoom.

Attendance: Live Zoom attendance is encouraged, but not required. Videos will be provided for each asynchronous week and live session.
