These courses are often foundational for those pursuing careers in horticulture, landscaping, or related fields.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of what a horticulture botany course might cover:
Core Topics:

Fertilization:
Learning about different types of fertilizers and how to use them effectively.
Pest and Disease Management:
Learning how to identify and control plant pests and diseases using various methods.
Plant Propagation:
Learning how to grow new plants from seeds, cuttings, and other methods.

-All curriculum will be provided from teacher created and online resources. No workbooks but instead everything will be easily housed in Google Classroom for students to work through the units at their own pace.
-This course will involve lots of plant and nature activities. Students will begin a nature collection at the beginning and have a full year to collect items. Students will also need a few house plants for a variety of purposes (observation, light experiments, and gravity tropism activities). Students will also begin a nature journal for outdoor observations.
