Option 1: Live Zoom
Learning Style: Independent Asynchronous with Group Zoom Labs
Thursdays 2pm EST
(11am PT, Noon MT, 1pm CT)
This course will provide a mixture of life science, earth science, anatomy, physical science, and environmental science. Students will work independently in Google Classroom with set deadlines, vocabulary practice tools, edtech interactives, and reading sections in a provided textbook. Along the way research projects, case studies, crafts, and labs to try at home will be provided to supplement and help with comprehension using kinesthetic learning (learning by doing). Throughout the course, students will meet at set times for live Zoom discussions and group labs. If the student is unable to attend, a video recording will be provided.

The course will include a mixture of teacher-created lessons, online CK-12 Flexbook resources, reading sections from
Access Science (Houghton Mifflin Company-Great Source Curriculum) textbook, assignments in GC, and daily skill builders using the Mark Twain General Science workbook.

Note: The Access Science textbook is a great one, but hard to find at times. The book will be shipped to your home, but could be pre-owned in excellent condition or new, depending on when the order was placed for the class. Thanks for your patience, but this is an incredible textbook.
Total For Class: $340 if you register by September 1.
Tuition Information (Registration After Sept 1)
If you are registering after Sept 1, you will need to purchase the following from Amazon or another bookstore online:
Late registration is welcome, but I will not be able to mail out everything after Sept 1, so please join us but plan to purchase the needed textbooks online.
Tuition: $300 after Sept 1 (the parent will purchase the needed curriculum book and workbook online)
*Please note a FB voucher coupon has been shared to specific co-ops or FB groups, the voucher can only be used once towards the total tuition.
Option 2: 100% Self Paced
If your child is interested in General Science, but they are joining late or prefer self paced then you can pick the self paced model. The student will work asynchronous with a parent supervising from home to complete a week at a time without joining the live Zoom sessions. The student will still have access to the video Zoom lessons.
