My program provides core curriculum, electives, and resources to help student prepare for STEM competitions, Science Olympiad, and 4-H presentations too.

Welcome to Science With Mrs. Collins. As you can see, I love teaching and taking care of animals. I graduated with my Masters from UGA with a focus on Science Education. I run a small farm, and work as a wildlife rehabber for my county. After covid I decided to leave the school system to create my online science business. I provide online science classes for homeschool families, charter schools, private schools, and local homeschool co-op programs. For the current 2025-2026 school year I had over 530 students enrolled in my program. My program is unique, because I am a strong believer in kinesthetic artistic learning. This style of teaching encourages:
-Tactile/Kinesthetic Learning: Combining the sense of touch (tactile) with body movement (kinesthetic) to explore and understand concepts.
-Experiential Learning: Gaining knowledge through direct, hands-on experience rather than listening or watching.
-Multisensory Education: Using artistic activities (sculpting, drawing, painting) to strengthen memory and understanding through physical engagement.

Qualifications: 26 years of teaching experience, 10 years of curriculum writing experience, homeschool experience, 11 years of tutoring experience, state certification in science/agriculture education/gifted studies
Have questions? Feel free to book a live Zoom or check out the FAQ page. All classes are housed in Google Classroom. This allows student easy access to the class using a gmail address from a computer, laptop, ipad, Google Classroom app, or smartphone when wifi is available. Students will upload work to GC allowing families an easy homeschool portfolio, when needed. All GC classes include a grading component. Self paced, group Zoom, and 1:1 classes are available. Please register early. August 1-September 15 are my busiest times of the year, and I also still work part time for the school system so please get your orders in early to prevent a delay. Orders made during that time period could experience a 2 week delay of access.
