6. Any content that you enter onto this website may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks and may involve changes in order to conform and adapt to the technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
7. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or otherwise exploit for commercial gain, or otherwise, any portion of any of the content on the website or any other part of the service that we offer on this website.

ONLINE STORE AND VIRTUAL ASSIGNMENT TERMS
9. Our website offers a range of products and or services for sale. Where we refer to an 'item' we are referring to a single product or service available for purchase on this website.
10. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that the details displayed for a particular item offered for sale are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system.
11.We may not be able to accept your order due to one or more of the following reasons, or for a reason not listed below:
i) The item you have ordered is out of stock
ii) We cannot authorize your payment or have reasonable grounds to suspect your payment may be fraudulent
iii) There has been a pricing error
iv) There is a system or procurement failure
v) You have failed our customer validation checks
12. When you place an order you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. Parents can use that invoice for homeschool data purposes. But teachers can not verify a student has completed the course unless the student has attended all Zoom meetings (if a live class) and have completed all of the assignments in Google Classroom.
13. Virtual learning is not a method of hands-off learning. But instead the parent is partnering with the teacher to provide the best class option possible. At times the parent will need to supplement or help the student at home. The parent will be expected to check Google Classroom a minimum of once a week to confirm the student is uploading assignments each week. Virtual teachers will not send out weekly reminders about missing work, because the parent is partnering upon registration to check in once a week.
MODIFICATIONS TO OUR SERVICE
14. Prices for items are subject to change without notice.
15. We reserve the right to, at any time, modify or discontinue any part of the service that we offer, or any part of content thereof, but we will reach out in such emergency via email to let you know. We hope this would never happen, but in case a teacher is injured or has an illness that prevents the class from continuing we will be in touch to notify you what changes will be made to continue the class.
16. We accept no liability to you or to any third-party for any modification, or participation while in the course.
REFUNDS
16. Live or Hybrid Classes:Upon registration, you are reserving your child's seat in the classroom. Refunds will not be provided. A set number of seats will be allowed in each class session, so your child will reserve a spot (thus preventing another registration). Self Paced Classes: Upon registration, you are requesting access to a full year course that has been personalized for your child and the state standards for your area will be met. The material was created for the student only, parents should not use curriculum for other siblings or for co-op use without permission. Refunds are not allowed for self paced courses.
17. Attendance is recommended for live classes, missing a class will not provide a refund. Instead the teacher can provide an alternative lesson, video lesson, slideshow or make up plan (but this will depend on the teacher).
18. Students will be expected to work in Google Classroom each week. The Google Classroom will be open for the student to work on assignments during the set class session. Not completing assignments in Google Classroom, does not qualify the family for a refund.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
19. We shall not be liable for any direct, special, indirect or consequential or incidental damages including loss of profit or loss of opportunity as a result of the use of or the inability to use any items that have been ordered on this website.
20. You agree to indemnify us and our agents, officers, directors and employees, immediately and on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of any of our terms and conditions.
DISCOUNTS & COUPONS
21. Throughout the year various discounts or coupons will be provided. During certain times of the year, currently enrolled students will be able to take a % off of a second class. The second class should have a tuition amount of equal or lesser value of the first class. Sibling discounts will be allowed, but please reach out for the policy.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
22. These terms and conditions combined with our published Privacy Policy (also available through this website) and Refund Policy (also available through this website) constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and us whether written or oral.
23. SWMC does not cover the following type of units in self paced or live Zoom: Developing Personal Identify/Gender Changes, Sexual Abstinence, Virginity, Human Sexuality, and Birth Control Methods. Those topics are best covered by a parent, not an online teacher in a virtual situation.
24. Curriculum provided is for individual students. Curriculum for one should not be used by multiple students under that individual's name for sibling groups, private schools, charter schools or co-op under the individual student account without permission. This is grounds for termination of classes. Misuse of classes for unenrolled students will be grounds for class removal.
25. Students enrolled in self-paced classes must keep a steady pace during the course. All courses will remain active for a full 12 month period. Students that are inactive in the program for 30 days, will cause the class to be inactive and enrollment will end.
GENERAL
26. Should any part-term or term be found to be unenforceable then the remainder of the terms and conditions shall continue to have full force and effect as if the invalidated term was not present.
27. Should any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions arise where it is beyond our reasonable control, we will not be responsible to you for such delay or failure nor liable for any loss that you incur, howsoever caused.
28. Teachers work as contract workers for Science With Mrs. Collins LLC.
29. Carefully read the length of the course. If a class is listed as a year long, two semester course then the first semester must be paid upfront to begin. The remaining second semester must be paid in 60 days to continue in the program.
30. Please allow 12-15 days after payment for class access to begin.
