Self Paced Middle School Classes

Self paced is very convenient for families who prefer their own schedule and working at a pace you have personally set for your child. Students have a full year to complete the course once they begin. Classes have no deadlines, allowing the family to set the routine.  

All classes are housed in Google Classroom. Google Classroom can easily be accessed by laptop, smartphone, the Google Classroom app, or an ipad. A Gmail address will be required. 

Science Graduation Requirements

For science courses, normally this is the progression of courses-

6th Earth Science  7th Life Science  8th Physical Science

But the above classes can be taken in any order. Every homeschool journey is different, so I also provide a General Middle School Science course which is a mixture of Earth, Life, and Physical Science. The goal is to be prepared for 9th grade Biology. 

*If your child has recently left the school system, please let me know. I can provide an assessment over the science class (for each grade level) and then make a recommendation for the course needed, create a tailored course, or provide a mid year enrollment option.
