Tutoring

Tutoring is one of my favorite ways to help families. I offer live virtual tutoring but I also offer pre-recorded sessions. 

Live Virtual Tutoring: The family pays for a session, and then I reach out to see what day/time you would like for me to Zoom with your child. On the set day I will meet with the student via Zoom or Google Meet for the session. During the session I will provide a slideshow demonstration on the topic, practice assignments using screenshare mode, online game style live assessment practice, and then after the session I will email the family additional worksheets (with keys) for supplemental practice. 

Pre-Recording Lesson: Some students prefer not to meet via Zoom for a live session, so instead I am able to help by providing a video lesson. The family will first pay for the session, and then I will reach out to see what type of video lesson is needed. I tutor all subjects K-6th grade, and K-12th grade science. For example, your child maybe struggling learning the Earth layers so I would create a video lesson, provide pdf visuals, practice worksheets (with keys), and online game style practice using a program called Wayground Quizizz.
