Edible Science Labs Self Paced (9 Weeks: Grades 2-8)

Level: All Ages

Length: Self paced Google Classroom course with 9 units/weekly topics. 

In this course students will create:

-Moon phases using Oreos

-DNA helix using twizzlers/gum drops

-Soil layers using oreos, chocolate and gummy worms

-Weathering experiment using water with Skittles

-Rock Cycle using Starburst

-Cell model using various small pieces of candy

-Insect life cycle using snack crackers

Bonus: Osmosis Gummy Bear lab

A short lesson will be provided for each edible lab. What a fun and enjoyable way to learn science. This class is best as a self paced class, to give students time to gather supplies and work on everything needed at a pace that works for the student.
