Summary:

Each week we focus on a topic with relevant vocabulary and phrases to practice and use day-to-day. The instructor uses puppets as well as simple story books and games to engage learners in these lessons. Students receive a copy of the book from class (created by the instructor), class notes, and worksheets for each week’s lesson to practice and put to use new vocabulary and phrases. Students practice by creating puppet or stuffy conversations using the weekly phrases, reading the simple stories on their own, completing worksheets, and playing our games with friends or family.

Week 1 - Introducing ourselves with names and ages

Week 2 - Telling how we are feeling

Week 3 - Giving action commands

Week 4 - Telling where things are (prepositions of place)
