In this course students work at a self paced level with mini lessons over topics. Then students will use the knowledge to create their own lego science cycle. This is a great program for students interested in science and legos.
Grades: Pre K-5th
Week 1 Water Cycle
Week 2 Rock Cycle
Week 3 Nitrogen Cycle
Week 4 Insect Life Cycle
Each week students will be presented with a diagram to draw, summary Youtube clip videos over the topic, lego science cycles to create, and optional crafts/labs.
For this class you will need:
paper
pencil
coloring pencils, markers, or crayons
legos of various colors
lego baseplate
Optional labs:
Starburst candies
jellybeans
cornstarch
honey
ziploc bags
permanent marker
water
blue food coloring
glue
tape
cardboard
plastic animals or cardboard ones
construction paper
soil
cut up leftover pieces of veggies or fruit
clay or play doh in several colors
