Course Format: Self Paced Online-Google Classroom
Course Length: 6 Weeks
Course Type: Science Elective
Description: Class will feature teacher created slideshows on the basics of owls, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, whooping cranes, flamingos, and robins. Students will be provided information on the diet, lifespan, behavior, and lots more. Each slideshow has a mix of fun facts, sound clips, short videos, images of birds at different ages, and crafts. Students will be sketching birds at home along the way and then uploading work via Google Classroom.
A bonus week lesson will also be provided on the anatomy of feathers.
